1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information Live Axis Technologies collects through this website, our quote builder, WhatsApp, email and phone, and how we use it. It's written alongside our POPIA notice, which covers your specific rights under South African law.

2. What we collect

  • Name, phone number and email address, when you submit a quote request or contact us.
  • Property type, service interest, and any details you choose to share about the job (e.g. number of cameras, property size).
  • Basic technical information (browser type, approximate location) collected automatically when you visit the site, for security and performance purposes.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to quote requests and enquiries.
  • To schedule and carry out installation or maintenance work you've requested.
  • To send you information directly relevant to a job you've asked about (not marketing, unless you've separately agreed to that).

4. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited details with technicians or subcontractors directly involved in carrying out your installation, and with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting and communication tools), under reasonable confidentiality expectations.

5. WhatsApp and email

When you use our WhatsApp quote button or the quote builder's "Send via WhatsApp" option, your message is sent through WhatsApp's own platform, which has its own privacy practices. The same applies to email sent via "Send via Email", which uses your own email application.

6. How long we keep it

We keep quote and job information for as long as reasonably needed to complete the work, handle warranty queries, and meet any legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligations we may have to keep certain records. See our POPIA notice for how to do this.
